Farmington, Iowa (May 7, 2011) - The return to the Shimek Speedway would see another crash into the hay bales in front of the spectator bleachers but the driver would be okay and little damage to the kart other than the drive chain coming off. The lite division would see a bounce back with a third place finish in the second heat. The heavy division would see a 2^nd place finish and a 3rd place finish in the second heat. The features would see a solid run with a fifth place finish in lite and a sixth after running third before a spin that would end up with a sixth. The biggest thing in the transition is seat time and things are starting to come together.
